Since this is my first blog post I'll give as much info as I possibly can to catch everyone up.
As of right now, I've just recently graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Theatre with a Design/Tech emphasis, also with a minor in German.
So as of right now I'm at home chillin' waiting to see what happens next, but for now I've got myself an internship. This particular internship is facilitated through the Commission for the Blind. The business partner is going to be the Town Theater in Columbia South Carolina.
Today I traveled down to Columbia to meet with Danny Harrington the Technical Director and his wife Jamie who is their Scenic Artist.
After the meeting with them I learned to take the bus from the Commission to the theater when we arrived there we were given a tour from Danny. After that we traveled back to the Commission on the bus.
That's in brief what's happened so far. The posts following this one will chronicle what happens on a hopefully daily if not every other day basis.
I think this is going to be a lot of fun, so all I can say is Here We Go.
